Mirror is a collection of compositions which I began writing in the year 2000, focusing on a few ideas about rhythm and pulse. As time passed and I continued to revise and rework these ideas, they began to fit together into the larger work that is found on this record. After several years of slow progress, circumstances and schedules aligned to bring the project to completion. If you find the record enjoyable, credit is due to the wonderful musicians whose interpretations and artistry brought it to life, to whom I am much indebted.
