Winter 2007–08 — Garden Geometry idea, Golden Spirals, Separate and Overlapping

July 2007, weeds and trash.
September 2007, weeds and trash cleared.
December 2007, bamboo fence installed, concrete path removed, one tree (Hinoki Cypress) planted in NW corner.
March 2008, first year, digging out the spirals and creating the patio with stone slabs on sand and concrete.
April 2008, first year, retaining walls built, paths constructed and filled with pebbles, triangular raised bed constructed, filled with soil, grass planted and covered in Southern area.
May 2008, bridge built to SW corner with back wooden platform, more paths constructed, plantings.
May 2008, bridge built to SW corner with back wooden platform, more paths constructed, plantings.
November 2010, 3rd year, 12’ x 12’ x 10’ central Pergola built (for privacy from surrounding buildings) with cantilevered swingset and cedar hammock.
July 2011, 4th year, grape vines (West) and wisteria (East) growing on pergola.

September 2019, 12th year. After some years of wild growth, focus now on utility. Bamboo and grapes removed, all trees and vines pruned. Added firepit, clothesline, kids' swings and obstacles.
